WELCOME to Palace News! 2010 was a very busy year for Palace. We began the year drowning in junk before we managed to sort, pack and move it all to our new home in Hanley Crouch. Palace’ current schedule is outlined in the Therapies page. We’re happy to have all our usual therapists back for 2011; Occupational therapy with Maggie, Cranial Osteopathy with Dianna, Reflexology with Anna, Speech and Language therapy with Neera, Music therapy with Karina and Sue’s social communication sessions.
We’ve been in Hanley Crouch for a year now and its been great to be in a building with so many different groups and so much life! Sharing a smaller space with Hanley Crouch’s saty and play after school club has also had its challenges including who goes where during holiday times. We are not able to offer as many holiday schemes as we have in the past but we will of course keep you posted on when they will be happening.

Money Money Money
Cast your mind back to Spring 2009 and our hugely successful sponsoredwalk/coffee and cake morning which raised around £700 for Palace. We’d like to see if we could do it again in 2011! Jean has already sold some jumble and Terri’s partner is threatening to climb a mountain. If anyone has any ideas or could donate any time towards organising a fundraising event then let us know.
Donated Toys
At the end of last term we were very kindly given a donation of several huge bin bags full of brand new, boxed toys. Our instructions were to make sure every child got one so speak to Terri to claim your free toy!
In Other News
In order to provide the full short breaks scheme we registered with OFSTED, just for the holiday schemes. This means that the playroom and all our policies and procedures will meet OFSTED standards for all the work we do.
Sadler’s Wells
Palace people can get tickets to all sorts of shows at Sadler’s Wells for only £6 if you want to know more send us an email and Jean can send you information on what shows are available and how to get tickets.
