A space essay by Jimmy, aged 11

A space man came to visit us. He had a real suit belonging to an American Astronaut named Cernan who was the last human being to walk on the Moon. He told us about how Cernan got to the moon in a rocket. He pointed to the top of the rocket that we had made and said the capsule was about as big as a bathroom.
When Cernan and his friends got to the moon they could almost float because of the gravity which was not very strong. They were only on the moon for 36 hours and then came back to Earth.
We had made lots of things to do with space, the rocket, models of the planets, drawings of space suits and the space man handed out prizes for the best.
He had brought some space ice cream, which didn't taste much like ice cream but was quiet nice even though it was not cold.
